Zechariah 13:9

And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them.  I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”  This verse is talking about the remnant of Jews that will be protected after the Tribulation. Two-thirds of the Jews will be destroyed but the Lord will keep one-third. Even though this section is prophesying the future of the Jews it really has spoken to me. This verse reminds me of 1 Peter 1:7 which states, “   So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ”. The Lord has been refining me through the fire every day of my field time. He has been exhorting me, there have been times of rebuke, and he is also answering me as I call upon His name. I am being tested in this season of my life wi

For I have chosen you

Haggai 2:23 On that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the Lord, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the Lord of hosts.” Zerubbabel was given a task. He was to finish the building of the temple in Jerusalem. He was given that task by the Lord. The whole book of Haggai shows how the relationship with the Lord and Zion is so beautiful. Jerusalem is His city. It is His dwelling place. In Psalm 76:2 the Psalmist states that the Lord indeed does dwell in Zion. The Lord entrusted Haggai to be the prophet in this time as Zerubbabel was in charge of rebuilding the temple which is the Holy place where people can worship and see the Lord’s presence. The Lord chose Zerubbabel and made him like a signet ring. Signet rings were so important in that day. I remember seeing King Hezekiah’s signet ring in Jerusalem. It marked who they were and which authority they were given to rule. The Lord gav

Seek First The Kingdom

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, who do his just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the anger of the Lord.  Do I seek the Lord in all that I do in humility and seek righteousness? The Lord has put this verse on my heart this whole week in many ways. Matthew 6:33 has been brought up multiple times, songs have been played, and people have brought it up to me in a way that the Lord is trying to grab my attention. The Lord wants me to seek Him in all that I do and is constantly reminding me this week. It is clear to me that I am needing to do this because of the place that I am in this season. The Lord has me in a place of responsibilities and completing tasks and I am to do it for the Lord. In these completed actions I need to seek the Lord, be humble, do his commands, and seek righteousness. And then all these things will be added unto me. What are all these things? Promises of that the Lord has given to me

Faithful Till The End

Hab 2:3-4 For still the vision awaits its appointed time;  it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it;  it will surely come; it will not delay. “Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.  As I stumbled upon this verse the other day driving to California from Montana I had great thankfulness in my heart. I honestly get chocked up thinking about where the Lord has taken me in the last year. The Lord gave me a vision over two years ago after surrendering my life to Him. I was standing on a beach in Mexico and the Lord spoke to me to give a year to him and go to Bible College. This year was going to be used for ministry. That day I would never have thought that I would be now traveling to California again but equipped for ministry. The Lord has given me yet another year committed to Him. I waited for that appointed time and now the Lord’s promises are being fulfilled. I could not have come into
